Edam Ball

Edam cheese was made in farms throughout North Holland and got its name, not only because it was sold here, but also because the recipe originated here. This perfectly round, red-waxed cheese is world-famous. The Edam cheese is made from semi-skimmed milk and has a lower fat content than the Gouda. It has a mild taste and a smooth texture. It is said that the unique flavor comes from the grazing pastures in North Holland. Unlike many other shops we sell the real Dutch Edam cheese. These traditional dutch cheeses are sold in a 2 pound ball.
